The £12.5 million Helena Partnerships Heald Farm Court development in Newton-le-Willows recently clinched a prestigious National Housing Design Award. The awards ceremony took place in Whitehall, Westminster, where Heald Farm Court was announced as the first ever winner of an award to recognise best practice in providing age-friendly housing.

Spectrum Signs were commissioned to develop attractive DDA compliant signs and external directional signs that would compliment the modern design. All internal Braille and tactile signs were manufactured using frosted Perspex and fitted using aluminium barrel fixings to an oak veneered backboard that matched the handrails and doors perfectly. Whilst the stylish bronze coloured totems and directional signage integrated well with the industrial design of the buildings.
